KickRaux a native of Portmore, Jamaica was raised in Florida. KickRaux’s eclectic musical roots can be traced back to the beaches of Spanish Town and the bass music of the Miami club scene. Early remixes and genre bending releases led to a feature on MTV UK’s The Wrap Up. In 2012, several highly successful dance hall remixes led to radio play on BBC Radio 1Xtra and other international radio stations across Russia, France, Canada & Australia and the Caribbean.
Since producing the [Jay-Z] assisted official remix of M.I.A.’s hit single “XXXO” for Interscope Records, KickRaux has quietly been one of the electronic music’s most enigmatic dj producers.
