Charlie Horse are a band based in Sydney, Australia. The group formed in 2010 and as of 2013 have released 2 albums, 'I Hope I'm Not A Monster' in 2012 and 'Strange Passengers' in 2013. They have released an EP in 2011, I Killed My Mind and 3 singles with accompanying film clips, I Killed My Mind, Dead Roses and Deep Water.
Biography
The band formed after McDonald and Rose met in a Balmain pub, the London Hotel on New Years Day 2010. After discussing music and a shared love of old Springsteen and Ryan Adams, the duo agreed to write together to see what would eventuate. Having written the bones of their first EP, the duo relocated briefly to Edinburgh for inspiration then settled on the Blue Mountains upon their return to Australia where they built a studio on the top floor of a log cabin in a remote valley. It was here that their debut album and follow up album were completed and recorded.
