I added a footnote to Gertrude Thanhouser page I created last night and it is still flagged as not having any references? What's wrong?

I have removed some vandalism. Please further correct this page in Style section, namely "The preferred style for doing it is usually the (blank) style." What word should replace (blank)? Grantsky 18:25, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You might want to include a link to Wikipedia:Citing sources. — Ocolon 17:44, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Perhaps links to some of the following policies/guidelines/help pages should be included too. --Smtomak 22:49, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Google Books

"When you find books on Google Books, don't link directly to that page. Instead, include a standard reference (author, title, ISBN) in the usual book format." How come? Why not do both? Sincerely, GeorgeLouis (talk) 14:41, 28 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Automation of flagging

It seems to me that flagging articles with no/few sources could be very easily automated, leaving us more time to focus on actually finding sources. Gizmoguy (talk) 15:46, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

West Highland White Terrier

The author states that the "Westie" is the symbol of London Fashion House, Radley. This incorrect. The Radley symbol is a Scottish Terrier (a Scottie) which is the black dog in the Black & White whisky advert. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.39.98.191 (talk) 23:00, 13 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Joan Crawfords husband Phillip Terry

From wikipedia on Joan Crawford.

Crawford adopted her first child, a daughter, in 1940. Because she was single, California law prevented her from adopting within the state so she arranged the adoption through an agency in Las Vegas. The child was temporarily called Joan until Crawford changed her name to Christina. She married actor Phillip Terry on July 21, 1942 after a six-month courtship.[35] Together the couple adopted a son whom they named Christopher, but his birth mother reclaimed the child. They adopted another boy, whom they named Phillip Terry, Jr. After the marriage ended in 1946, Crawford changed the child's name to Christopher Crawford.
