Typo

It was found a typo in the article: It is not Jamacia, I'm pretty sure that is Jamaica. Juan andrés

I fixed the typo, sorta. I removed all references to Jamaica, as they were not affected by the hurricane. Hurricanehink 01:37, 8 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Todo

Structure is quite good; it just needs some more on impact. Jdorje 20:32, 10 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Better? Hurricanehink 02:33, 25 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Make sure you retain precision in converting units. 5.8 inches should be 150 mm (2 digites), not 147.3 mm. Jdorje 02:54, 25 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I meant to do that for all of them, but I guess I missed that one. Good catch. Hurricanehink 03:08, 25 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Importance

I don't see why a billion-dollar storm in today's terms is Low-importance. It doesn't deserve to go any higher than Mid, but still. --Dylan620 (Homeyadda yadda yaddaOoooohh!) 16:26, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mid is fine. Thegreatdr (talk) 18:23, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The NHC just released a paper confirming that Kate is the latest US hurricane landfall. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 16:03, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've added it. HurricaneFan25 12:31, 20 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ida: First November hurricane since 1985?

I was fixing my edit when it got reverted ... sorry, I meant Gulf of Mexico, per Jeff Masters here. - Dank (push to talk) 22:09, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That would be correct. You can add that line into the article, but you can't use a blog for a reference where primary source information (like HURDAT) is available as a reference. Thegreatdr (talk) 00:25, 10 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I caught one in the Impact section

-- Cape San Blas is in Gulf County. Okaloosa is much farther west. --DuneDancer (talk) 19:56, 25 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]
