Miscellaneous comments

These domains are avaliable to anyone in the world. Simply beacause they are expensive doesn't mean they will let anyone have them, and it depends on the Admin on who looks after the domains, so yeah.

.cc is a pretty cool domain name in it's self. In my opinion these domains are pretty cool and nice to have but they're expensive. Probably I could get 3 .com's or 1.cc, so like .cc domains cost up to £30 depending on the registar and whatnot. And you can get 3 .com's or whatever if you dont want a .cc domain, I'm just comparing the domains if you know what I mean.

I hope someone else can expand this article, thanks. Liquinn 17:34, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The .co.cc Section reads a little bias, some rewording might be in order.

.co.cc Redirection Domains

.co.cc Domains are not always used for URL Redirection, they can be used with full DNS as well. This article should be updated to reflect this. Angus.ireland (talk) 11:15, 9 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

   .co.cc isn't a tld, it's a subdomain 85.228.110.108 (talk) 21:16, 11 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Out of Date

Verisign took over .cc registry from eNic. Then eNom took over .cc registry from Verisign. Article needs updated. 80.176.206.225 (talk) 02:50, 8 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Uni.cc has DNS, right?

As far as I know, uni.cc allows you to create NS records although nothing else. It's not simply a forwarding service afaik. --ALK (Talk) 18:56, 18 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Spammers

It would be helpful to know why so many spammers use .cc e-mail addresses. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.195.224.102 (talk) 19:36, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I guess it's because it's free to anyone to register. RocketMaster (talk) 14:03, 26 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

During several automated bot runs the following external link was found to be unavailable. Please check if the link is in fact down and fix or remove it in that case!
