Everything ''she'' did for money, according to that link, is wrong. We know that stealing money from others is wrong; that could've landed her in jail. In my opinion, even if she survived that dreary February morning, there's just no way she could ever make money anymore. |

Fair use rationale for Image:Fast Times Vincent Schiavelli.jpg
Image:Fast Times Vincent Schiavelli.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:49, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
"As she approached her thirties and her beauty faded"
This sentence is very subjective and definitely at least borderline sexist and misogynistic. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.250.31.132 (talk) 23:10, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
- I agree, and have removed the 'beauty faded' part - it's POV, before anything else. Robofish (talk) 03:55, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
Vandalism.
Thanks for removing the insertion of Lana's middle name as "Dead" and "Death" respectively. I actually logged into Wikipedia for the first time in what must be a couple of years to correct it - I'm not what you might call a prolific editor but it annoyed me. By the time I'd remembered my password, it had been edited out again.

- By the way, is it true Lana's middle name really is Jean? Otherwise, this issue will evolve into a case of "Everyone thinks Jean is Lana's middle name, but she doesn't actually have one!" WikiPro1981X (talk) 04:29, 10 July 2012 (UTC)
- I added her middle name back into the Info box, and in the right place. WikiPro1981X (talk) 23:20, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
Does anyone know how she died?
In the Death section, it just talks about how Phil Spector was convicted in relation to her death. It doesn't say how she actually died. Tschow (talk) 16:16, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
The only reason this woman is even worthy of having her own article is because she was allegedly killed by someone more famous than her, and it's the shortest part of the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 116.39.64.100 (talk) 14:19, 17 June 2010 (UTC)
-- No, she was a promising and well known young model, and she was murdered by a violent shitbag. She's very noteworthy 121.45.228.176 (talk) 16:32, 16 November 2011 (UTC)
-- There are a lot of young promising models, actresses etc. She is here because of how the crazy man killed her. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mightymouseman (talk • contribs) 22:03, 29 November 2011 (UTC)
--I don't believe that Lana had deliberately shot the gun at herself. It just has to be Phil Spector. Even Lana's mother, Donna, argues her daughter did not deliberately kill herself. WikiPro1981X (talk) 01:17, 29 June 2012 (UTC)
Lana Was the Only Child of Her Two Parents, Correct?
I want to say that Lana was, de facto ("in fact" or "for all intents and purposes"), the only child of her two parents (Donna and James Clarkson). I've seen some sources suggest that Donna and James were probably not even married when she was born, or if they were, they were separated.
Why? One source suggests Donna had given birth to Lana as "a single mom" which suggests the theory that the pair had separated and/or divorced. That would mean both Fawn and Jesse (the latter a successful designer) were, de facto, Lana's "half siblings" (meaning, the children of James with his other wife).
I encourage you to add these facts after you research for even more info about them. WikiPro1981X (talk) 01:15, 29 June 2012 (UTC)
Prostitute Rumors
There are some rumors out there that Lana Clarkson had been working as a prostitute in the days after her movie-star fame, just before meeting Phil Spector. I would believe such claims to be bogus. Can anyone else here verify anything about her so-called prostitution angle?
