No problem. This issue has been discussed on the talk page however it always seems to comeback to the same photo it seems because nothing new is found or when something new is found it is removed. Thanks! Jason1978 (talk) 11:37, 18 December 2013 (UTC) |

Your recent editing history at Korn shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. Nbcwd (talk) 19:56, 6 January 2013 (UTC)

Hello, I'm Dan56. Your recent edit to the page The Fragile (Nine Inch Nails album) appears to have added incorrect information, as the source you cited does not appear to verify the material you added. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source verifying what you added or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 03:00, 28 January 2013 (UTC)
re: Josh Homme
If the sources you found are clearly reliable then you can go ahead and add the material. I think some talk page discussion might be a good idea in a case like this, as there's bound to be some debate. ChakaKongtalk 18:08, 28 January 2013 (UTC)
Hi. I'm not sure why "only studio albums should be listed" in this section, but even if there is some guideline that says they should be, surely remix and soundtrack albums are studio albums anyway? Black Kite (talk) 14:11, 29 January 2013 (UTC)
- (talk page stalker) It's standard practice to only list regular studio albums if the band has a discography page, and not EPs, remix albums, etc. See Nine Inch Nails#Discography and Radiohead#Discography for some FAs following the practice. I think the idea is that it follows the summary style practice. —Torchiest talkedits 14:30, 29 January 2013 (UTC)
- Ah, I didn't find that one buried away in the WikiProject. Thanks :) Black Kite (talk) 15:17, 29 January 2013 (UTC)

I started a discussion regarding mudvayne's genre on their talk page, please give your thoughts on the matter. Pretty Fly (for a White Guy) – The Offspring
"Pretty Fly (for a White Guy)" was released in the November of 1998 and little did The Offspring know when they were releasing the track that they were about to unleash an absolute monster of an anthem. "Pretty Fly" achieved mediocre success in the US Billboard Hot 100 where it peaked at number 53, and in the Hit Mainstream Rock Tracks chart the track peaked at number 5. Not great really. But then take into consideration the fact that it was number one in nine countries including the UK, Japan and Australia. Since its release "Pretty Fly" has achieved 4x platinum certification in Australia, 3x in Sweden, 2x in Norway and platinum in the UK.
Source/Reference - http://poppunkworld.com/blogbeta/?id=21
The article states that the album was a success and achieved platinum certification (as shown) in multiple countries, can you please state this in the punk rock aricle and it's references.

Wysada.com
In case you didn't notice, the article was written under a promotional username, and is a clear case of CSD. I think it's useless to add cleanup tags for an article about to get deleted! Cheers TheStrikeΣagle 14:09, 7 April 2013 (UTC)
I Don't Want to Live Without You (Gregg Tripp song)
I've declined your speedy because there is currently an article on Gregg Tripp. (There wasn't when you put the tag on.) However, this is apparently his main claim to fame and the refs there aren't brilliant, so one doesn't know how long it will last... Peridon (talk) 14:19, 7 April 2013 (UTC)
- A9 is only valid when the song is not of itself notable, AND the performer has no article. You tagged correctly, as the performer didn't have an article. When I declined, he did. I declined correctly. Up to you what you do next. I'd say there's enough to pass CSD. Peridon (talk) 15:51, 7 April 2013 (UTC)

Hi Myxomatosis57. This article does seem to "credibly indicate the importance or significance of the subject". Are you updating the billboard charts section for Came Back Haunted? Whenever I check Billboard I get conflicting information. Thank you for my edit on Imagine
Hello Myxomatosis57,
I'm glad you thanked me for my edit on "Imagine" yesterday, even if "soft rock" was not kept because the references I added with are (according to other users) not reliable enough and because they believe I want to begin a genre war (which is of course not my purpose at all). Did you do it because you agree with me to say this song is a soft rock song or is it for another reason ? Synthwave.94 (talk) 10:31, 1 August 2013 (UTC)

Hey Myxomatosis57, Good Enough (Evanescence song) is actually a piano ballad, not a music genre. Why? Because its main instrument is a piano. A translation, perchance?
Hello Myxomatosis. Much thanks for helping out with the VE translation effort. We are going to roll out VisualEditor to the Turkish Wikipedia on September 24th, barring any unforeseen issues. Would you be able to do a large favour for me? I have an official message for tr.wiki, could I post it to you to translate? I don't want to trust the google. Let me know if you have time for it, best, PEarley (WMF) (talk) 01:51, 11 September 2013 (UTC) (great taste in music, btw)
- Yes, sure. I can translate it. I'd be glad if you post it to me. - Myxomatosis57 (talk) 13:48, 11 September 2013 (UTC) (thanks for the compliment, btw)
- Thanks Much, Myxomatosis. Here's the message:
- Greetings from the Wikimedia Foundation, Turkish Wikipedia editors. I am posting to let you know about the VisualEditor (VE) editing interface. It is a new, visual way to edit Wikipedia. We would like to deploy VisualEditor on this Wikipedia soon, and we would like to get editors' opinions on the new platform.
- Thanks Much, Myxomatosis. Here's the message:
- To test VisualEditor, you can enable it by going to "Preferences" "Editing" → "Enable VisualEditor". After doing this, you will see two options for editing an article. We welcome your feedback, and would like to know about any problems or "bugs" experienced on tr.wiki. It is also important that VisualEditor's buttons and labels are translated into Turkish, along with several important help documents. If you have English skills, you can help out at Translatewiki.net and VisualEditor's TranslationCentral on mediawiki.org. You must have an account on Translatewiki.net to translate.
- We expect to enable VisualEditor here on Tuesday, 24 September unless there any critical bugs with your particular Wikipedia that you find during testing. Enabling VisualEditor here for everyone will help the software to be developed and improved to meet the needs of all users. After the rollout the new editor will be displayed side-by-side with the button to edit using wikitext. Once VisualEditor is enabled you will have the option to disable it in your preferences so that you will no longer see it while it is in beta testing. We hope that you do not chose to do that because it would limit the opportunities to find out how we can make VisualEditor better for the XX Wikipedia. The option to edit using wikitext will not be going away. Thank you for your comments, and happy editing, PEarley (WMF) (talk) 14:06, 11 September 2013 (UTC)
Ghost
I assume that your knowledge about genres is minimal. Please try checking encyclopedia for the correct genre for the band ghost , they're termed as rock and heavy metal. They do not have stoner rock traits i.e., retro production and fuzzy guitars. They are NOT doom metal as they are not using slow tempos and also are using keyboards which are not used in doom metal. Please do not change corrected genres unless you have a deep understanding about the subject. Thank You. TheDarkPoison (talk) 14:09, 13 September 2013 (UTC)
RE :RE Ghost
No wonder wikipedia is factually incorrect Groove metal has got stoner rock and doom metal bands Death Grind has brutal Death Metal bands Death core has metalcore bands. If genre warrior it is what they call me then genre warrior I am Being a genre warrior is better than posting factually incorrect information on a site like wikipedia in the name of consensus. Thank You TheDarkPoison (talk) 18:47, 13 September 2013 (UTC) Now the reason for the incorrectness of wikipedia is more apparent.

DYK for Quasar (song)
On 25 September 2013, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Quasar (song), which you created or substantially expanded. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. Turkish and Notifications
Greetings!
Thank you for helping with translations. It is invaluable work! I was wondering if you could help out with a small translation project.
We are releasing Notifications to the Turkish Wikipedia next week. There are still three priorities to double check for translations to make sure they are complete and accurate so that the Wikipedia gets the best experience possible:
- Echo on translatewiki for user interface
- Thanks on translatewiki for user interface
- Notifications help on mediawiki.org. This page can be hosted after translation on mediawiki.org or we can localize it to this Wikipedia.
If you have any questions you can email me, kpeterzell [AT] wikimedia [DOT] org or you can contact me on my meta talk page. Keegan (WMF) (talk) 04:21, 2 October 2013 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for October 11
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited The Complete Vinyl Collection, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page William Reid (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Deftones (album) may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.
- List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
- | Genre = Alternative metal, [experimental rock]]
- however were shelved due to unknown reasons.<ref>{{cite web|last=Cunningham|first=Abe|title=News > Page 8 > New Deftones Info You've all been waiting for|url=http://web.archive.org/web/20031206223501/http://

Red Hot Chili Peppers picture
I tried find one more visible that met the requirements of Wikipedia but the best photos featured three out of the four members. I think the current photo needs to be replaced because it is a seven year old photo of the band plus that lineup is no longer together and one with Josh Klinghoffer, who has been with the band since 2009, is needed. Jason1978 (talk) 10:46, 18 December 2013 (UTC)
- Firstly, thanks for your recent contributions and concerns over the article. Secondly, I believe that you have a valid point; however I also think that a new picture would not make a difference unless the new line-up is visible on the photo. I think we can also indicate that the photo portrays the 2006 line-up. (This issue also can be discussed on the talk page, by the way.) The best is to upload a new (and valid) photo of the band or wait for the photo to be uploaded. Thank you. Myxomatosis57 (talk) 16:10, 18 December 2013 (UTC)
No problem. This issue has been discussed on the talk page however it always seems to comeback to the same photo it seems because nothing new is found or when something new is found it is removed. Thanks! Jason1978 (talk) 11:37, 18 December 2013 (UTC)
Keep Holding On - genre
Hi, can you help me to figure it out? The song sheet genre details is not redirect enough. Source says pop ballad, then only one genre is pop music in infobox. But Ruby Murray cannot allowed me to revert. Please help me.
