Fargo is an upcoming television series on FX, based on the film of the same name.

In 2012, it was announced that FX was developing a new TV series based on the film Fargo with the Coens as executive producers.[1] It was later announced that adaptation would be a 10-episode limited series.[2] On August 2, 2013, it was announced that Billy Bob Thornton has signed on to star in the series. On September 27, 2013, Martin Freeman also signed on to star.[3] On October 3, 2013, it was announced that Colin Hanks would be cast in the role of Duluth Police Deputy Gus Grimly.[4] It is currently[when?] being filmed in and around Calgary, Alberta.[citation needed]
