The 2014 Louisville Cardinals football team will represent the University of Louisville in the 2014 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Cardinals will be led by head coach Bobby Petrino, who begins his second stint at Louisville after eight years away, seven of which were spent as a head coach at other colleges and in the NFL. The team will play its 17th season at its current home of Papa John's Cardinal Stadium in Louisville, Kentucky. They are in their first season as members of the Atlantic Coast Conference; they are replacing departed member Maryland in the Atlantic Division.
