I Didn't Do It is a Disney Channel Original Series that premiered on Disney Channel. The series stars Olivia Holt and Austin North. A pilot for the series was announced November 2012 with production of the pilot scheduled for January 2013. The series was picked up on June 18, 2013. The series began production in summer of 2013 [citation needed] and started airing on January 17, 2014.[1] The series is created by Tod Himmel and Josh Silverstein.[2][3][4]
Plot
In the series, ultra-competitive brother–sister twins Lindy and Logan Watson, together with their three best friends spend their freshman year of high school. Each episode begins with a comedic ‘what just happened?’ situation as Lindy and Logan each spin their own vivid account of a certain occurrence or predicament. The series will utilize flashback scenes to tell the siblings’ weird stories.
Cast and characters
- Lindy Watson, played by Olivia Holt,[5] Lindy grew up geeky, nerdy, an outcast and on the athletic side. She walks into high school with a brand new look with her best friend who shows her how to be fashionable which she is now branching out and becoming a new girl.[6]
- Logan Watson, played by Austin North,[5] is very laid back, cool, chill and confident and has big plans on making his mark on high school. But those plans sometimes collide with his sister, Lindy. [7]
- Jasmine, played by Piper Curda,[5] is a smart, daring, and fashion-forward teenager. She is also always supportive of her four best friends. A fashionista since third grade, Jasmine thrives on good grades, pulling off daring pranks and having the perfect outfit for every occasion. [8][5]
- Garrett, played by Peyton Clark,[5] is a bit of a germaphobe and can be obsessive about the most obscure details. His affinity for cleanliness and order constantly gets pushed to its limits by his four friends.[5]
- Delia, played by Sarah Gilman,[5] is a lovable, eccentric person. She is very outspoken and if there's something that shouldn't be said out loud, Delia has probably already blurted it out, much to her friends' chagrin and secret delight.[5]

Delia applies for a job at the gang's favorite kid party place, Fireman Freddy's Spaghetti Station. But a fight/rift between Delia and Lindy occurs when Lindy gets Delia's job. When Lindy gets promoted, her bitter coworkers quit right before a huge party. Lindy is forced to call Logan, Garrett, Jasmine, and Delia for help, when the sauce sprayer goes awry. Meanwhile, Logan and Garrett battle some little kids at the smoothie shop for the sacred couch seat. Elsewhere, Jasmine tries to overcome her fear of Fireman Freddy's dalmatian, and it doesn't help matters that Garrett is in the suit during the party. | ||||||
