Peters
Why does the 'Personal Life' section list her husband as being Andi Peters?
CBE?
Dawn French CBE? Deleted this as she turned down the OBE a few years ago.
Live 8
- In 2005, Bob Geldoff invited people to leave the Live 8 concert in London immediately prior to French's introduction of Mariah Carey.
I have no idea what this means. Was it a joke? Was he having a dig at French? At Carey? Was it a mistake? Is it even true? It's too loaded a remark to leave in without any explanation. sjorford →•← 12:52, 11 August 2005 (UTC)
- Ah, I think I've found it now [1] - people had to leave to catch their trains home. It's irrelevant to this article, then. sjorford #£@%&$?! 10:39, 9 September 2005 (UTC)
Declining the OBE

Lists Dawn as a notable former student, but not mentioned in the article. Was she? Bedders 14:40, 13 June 2006 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Dawn grimreaper murdermosthorrid.jpg
Image:Dawn grimreaper murdermosthorrid.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot 20:26, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

Greenpeace
I'm pretty certain that in the very early 1990s or late 1980s, Dawn French took part in an education/propaganda video for Greenpeace. She narrated a claymation earth (and had part of her face superimposed on it) as it morphed through various guises being deforested and polluted. I don't know if this has any relevance for the article ... I just stopped here as I am looking to see if the video is still available anywhere and google pointed me here. --Candy (talk) 17:12, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
25 stone?
I've met her in Fowey and there's no way she weighs twice as much as me. Someone should cite that specifically. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.115.230.234 (talk) 03:52, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
David Smyth
It says in the article that French met David Smyth after studying for a while in New York. She actually met him at a party in Liskeard, before she went to New York. She says this in her new book, 'Dear Fatty'.
