Julie Lasky (b. 1960) is Editor of the Change Observer channel of the Design Observer website. She is also Deputy Editor of the New York Times (NYT) Home section, and writes the column The Details in the NYT on new design.

Lasky has previously been Editor-in chief of I.D. magazine (2002-2009), Editor-in-chief of Interiors magazine (1998-2001) and Managing Editor of Print magazine.[1]

In 1995, Lasky received a Columbia University National Arts Journalism Program fellowship. She has also been awarded a Richard J. Margolis Award for journalism, and was a Journalism Scholar at Northwestern University.[2]
