Kisongo is an administrative ward in the Arumeru district of the Arusha Region of Tanzania. According to the 2002 census, the ward has a total population of 7,501.[1] It is located in the outskirts of Arusha, about 7km west of Arusha Airport.

There are numerous local churches, dispensaries and schools in Kisongo. Kisongo Academic College (KAC) is a co-educational institution that is divided into two branches: KAC Secondary School and KAC Department of Tourism and Conservation Training (DTC).[2] Braeburn Arusha School is an international school that provides Early Years, primary and secondary education, following the British National Curriculum.[3] The Saint Joseph Girls High School, Arusha Modern High School (owned by the Catholic Archdiocese) and St. Joseph University Arusha Campus are also located in Kisongo.[4]
