The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) is a government agency in the U.S. state of Maryland. MDOT is overseen by James T. Smith, Jr., who was appointed as Transportation Secretary on May, 29, 2013.[3]
The agency is headquartered at 7201 Corporate Center Drive, which has a Hanover, Maryland address, in unincorporated Anne Arundel County.[4]
