Jackson Local Schools is a school district located in Jackson Township, Stark County, Ohio, United States serving the area north of the city of Massillon, Ohio.
The district is made up of 4 elementary schools, 1 middle school and 1 high school. The schools mascot is a Polar Bear and Jackson's chosen colors are purple and gold. The district's athletic rivals are the Hoover Vikings of the nearby North Canton City Schools and the Perry Panthers of nearby Perry Township.Yet Jackson 'destroyed' in the 2010 state championships. Jackson High School recently completed its extension to add onto the size of the school.
Jackson Local Schools' superintendent is Mr. Chris Diloredo who has held said position since August 2003.[1] The district's facilities include four elementary schools as well as a singular middle and high school.[2]
