Rikaitch is a term used exclusively with regards to Rik Hughes. (b. 1971). It is a term derived from his time at Southend College, by his main tutor after he botched something to make it work, and then left the botch in place because it worked better.

It is now most widely used in his blog The rather mundane world of the Rikaitch and he is better known as the Welsh arch nemesis to another Blogger Scaryduck. Other pastimes have included the search for dodgy lyrics http://www.rikaitch.plus.com/lyrics and his Brecon Beacons webcam http://www.rikaitch.plus.com/webcam.htm

He hails from the South East of the UK, mostly from Crystal Palace and Southend_on_Sea:Southend on Sea in Essex.

He now lives in the Swansea Valley, and is a technical consultant taking on tasks such as PC repair, sound engineering, electronics and programming.
