Nadia/NNadia Chan Chung Ling (Chinese: 陳松齡 / 陳松伶; pinyin: Chén Sōnglíng) is a Hong Kong (HK) actress. Born in China on January 21 1971 she started showbusiness in 1985 at the age of 14 winning a Sally Yeh impersonation contest hosted by TVB, within the show Enjoy Yourself Tonight (commonly called EYT or 歡樂今宵). Thereafter she hosted many children's show and sang many children's songs which gained her much popularity within the younger generation. NNadia stars in films as well as Hong Kong/Singaporean/mainland-Chinese television serials although she is most well-known for many of her roles in TVB Series and children's songs. (i.e., e.g., for series: 天涯歌女 - 周璇, 林貞烈, 方巧蓉; for songs: 天涯歌女, 烏卒卒, 相聚一刻)

Trivia

  • She changed her Chinese name from 陳松齡 to 陳松伶 in 1995, upon the advice of her singing mentor LIU Jia Chang (劉家昌).
  • She then changed her English name from Nadia to Nnadia in 1998. The extra letter n is supposed to stand for "never give up".
