Wondering why this page was not accepted for creation. Robert Hellenga (author) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Areteneo (talkcontribs) 16:10, 17 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The primary reasons are given in the notice at the top of the article submission, with links to more information. In short, you have not shown notability. Notability on Wikipedia generally means that the subject has been discussed in a variety of independent reliable sources. At the time of the review (6 January 2014 by FoCuSandLeArN), there is only one independent source. Anon126 (talk - contribs) 17:06, 17 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'm very curious on why my edits where rejected. If you can suggest or give me the specifics i will rectify it accordingly.

Would greatly appreciate the inputs.

Ngravi (talk) 19:09, 17 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Ngravi- Welcome to the Articles for Creation Help desk. If you look at the top of the submission page, there's light pink box with reasons of decline. Well, as you've requested here, I'll make an attempt to describe a little to you for better understanding, you submission is declined because it reads like an advertisement. Wikipedia accepts knowledge not advertisement. This way, it is not in compliance with Wikipedia neutral point of view policy and hence could not be accepted this time. Apart from promotional tone, I feel, notability of the subject has not been established and could not be accepted even if tone is made to comply with neutral point of view policy. Notability stands for, significant coverage in the secondary, independent and reliable sources. Anupmehra -Let's talk! 19:40, 17 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi I'm new to this and need some feedback about the deletion of this article Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Limbs 4 Life The copyrighted work it referred to me using was actually written by me. I am the co founder of the organisation and responsible for all of our written online content. I'm really not sure where to go to from here? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Best Regards

If you wish to donate work whose copyright you own so that it can be re-used on Wikipedia, follow the instructions at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. Note that this does not guarantee the submission will be accepted or the material retained unchanged; it is merely a minimum copyright requirement. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 11:07, 18 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I am a Lecturer, researcher and academic from Pakistan. I think I have added substantial sources for what I wrote in my article. I have listed the reference of the institution where my brief profile is available. Along with this I have put the references of my publications and all what I stated. Then why my article is getting rejected?

Dear Sir,

I,m trying to create aa article for a upcoming notable person in chennai india. As I'm not getting much reference about him, my article is getting declained. But I have taken all details about him from the book which he had written as his biography.

what can I do now?? Pls help me..... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ashokragavan (talkcontribs) 11:14, 18 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If he wrote the book himself, then it is his autobiography, not his biography. In order to prove that an individual is notable by Wikipedia's standards, what is needed are refernences to sources unconnected with the person, which discuss him in detail. A summary of this can be found at Wikipedia:VRS. If not enough such sources exist, then it may be that the person is indeed still upcoming, so there cannot be a Wikipedia article about him yet. Hello, my article for Boundary Oak School was not excepted because of the following issue:

It is proposed that this article be deleted because of the following concern:

Entirely non-notable private prep/pre-prep school.

Can you please tell me what this means and how to resolve this.

Thank you

BoundaryOak (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 11:56, 18 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have corrected the redlink caused by the omission of the capitalisation from the article title, & also the formatting errors caused by leading spaces. --David Biddulph (talk) 12:08, 18 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia does not normally have separate articles about primary-level and preparatory schools. The exceptions are if there is significant coverage of the school in independent reliable sources. See Wikipedia:VRS for a summary of this. Your article submission at Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Boundary Oak School has two other problems. Firstly, it is excessively promotional, for example language like "a rich and stimulating learning environment where each child feels unique" merely seeks to promote the school without providing any factual information. Secondly, some or all of it may have been copy-pasted from the school's own website or promotional materials; this is not acceptable according to Wikipedia:COPYPASTE.
The existing article The Avery Coonley School is a Featured Wikipedia article about a school with the same age range as Boundary Oak, although about three times larger in terms of enrollment. As you can see, there is a significant difference in the neutrality of the tone and the thoroughness and independence of the referencing. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 12:16, 18 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
BoundaryOak, at least half of it was pasted from the school website and has been removed as a copyright violation. The material that is left is also blatantly promotional. Voceditenore (talk) 13:29, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Ofentse malebo, the main problem is that you have not referenced any independent sources - look for newspaper and magazine articles about this company. If you agree I can help you with writing the article. (I am South African and know my way around finding acceptable sources. Hello. I received an email this morning at 1056 am that my article Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/International Association for the Fantastic in the Arts had been reviewed by DragonflySixtyseven. I had made many changes since its initial rejection on 2/22. When I checked the article, however, I saw no new comments and no status change. Can you tell me what this indicates regarding the disposition of the article? This is my first article so I'm still feeling my way through the system. Thanks. --Mike Achimel (talk) 16:15, 18 March 2014 (UTC)Achimel[reply]

His contributions are here, and I don't see the connection; he has never edited that page; nor does he seem to have been editing during the late morning (GMT) today. Perhaps he acted upon some other page or username with which your email address was involved at some point? Arthur goes shopping (talk) 16:41, 18 March 2014 (UTC) Ping User:DragonflySixtyseven just in case they can shed any light on this mystery. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 16:42, 18 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I don't believe he edited the page. This is the exact text of the email: "Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/International Association for the Fantastic in the Arts was reviewed by DragonflySixtyseven.". I thought perhaps he was part of the official review process and had evaluated the resubmitted article. Achimel (talk) 16:51, 18 March 2014 (UTC)Achimel[reply]

Ah, apologies, that is part of a different "review" process. The page is currently still awaiting review for acceptance as an article. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 16:54, 18 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks. I will stand by for further notice. Achimel (talk) 16:57, 18 March 2014 (UTC)Achimel[reply]

Hello Wikipedia. I know it's insane to think that this article should be viewed by anybody, but this was written on March 18th 2014 Eric's 18th birthday, and there is no better way I could think to honor him as the person who has been by my side for the past three years. I beg you if only for a month, a week, a day that this article be up. This article is comedic yes, but it is a hyperbole of all the true amazing things he's done to effect the people around him and improve the world. Thank you for your consideration. ~Charles Shipley — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cshipstersles (talkcontribs) 20:26, 18 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Advice Help please: I have uploaded two new photos to complete my article 'Mission Point (Mackinac Island)'. These photos are of 3 buildings that are described in the article (The Film Studio, Conference Center, and Library). Both photos were provided to me by their authors for use in this article. I identified these authors in descriptions uploaded with the photos. The photos are: File:Mission_Point_Film_Studio_-_Fine_Arts_Building,_Mackinac_Island,_1966.jpg and File:Mission_Point_conference_center_and_library,_Mackinac_Island,_MI_1969.jpg

Both photos were taken in the 1960's after building construction was complete, and the upload category that I selected in the Wikipedia: File Upload Wizard said: --This is a depiction of a copyrighted three-dimensional work or building, which is the object of discussion in an article. This is a photograph or other kind of depiction of a copyrighted, three-dimensional creative work, such as a statue or work of architecture. The article contains a discussion of that work which requires illustration. The photograph as such is free, or was provided by the creator of the sculpture.

However, now a warning on the 'Studio' image says something quite different: -The fair use only covers "proposed building or architectural work." - the license says "As soon as construction is completed on the building, this image should be deleted and replaced with a freely licensed photograph of the actual building"

Also, regarding the 'Conference center / Library' photo: What are the restrictions Low- vs. high-resolution ?

Should I have uploaded these as free? (see above: "the photograph as such is free"). If so, how do I fix these problems?

Sincerely, kdee Karin D. E. Everett (talk) 00:54, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If the people who took the photographs wish to freely license them, they can do so (or you can assist them in doing so) using the instructions at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. A photographer still owns the copyright to their photograph even if it was taken in a public place. Also, the licensing requirements for Wikipedia require more than merely permission to use an image in an article (as explained at that link). Arthur goes shopping (talk) 16:24, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I am disappointed, you are right, that this submission ("David L Peterson") was declined. I have read the tutorials for beginners, and the subject shared a Nobel Peace Prize, which was documented in the submission, and numerous other awards, which were documented and verifiable. All the links I provided are active, and the only one provided by the subject is his citation list, which is easily verifiable. Others in his field with Wikipedia pages have equal or fewer elements of notability (e.g., Thomas W Swetnam and Steve Running, not that they are unworthy).

So I am really perplexed at how your reviewer characterized my submission, clearly mistakenly in my view. That said, if you could provide SPECIFIC examples in the submission of inadequate referencing, I could beef them up further.

thanks for your help.

Hi there. Are you also User:Dmckgbear? Or are there two people working on the article? Anyhow, don't give up hope. I personally think that there is sufficient referenced material there to establish notability and move the draft into article space. (I've made a few changes and additions so far.) I'm going to ask another editor who's an expert on articles about academics and scientists to give a second opinion. In the meantime, I suggest you do a bit of copyediting per Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Words to watch. Best wishes, Voceditenore (talk) 16:24, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Having had a close look at the article and spoken with another Wikipedia editor with a lot of experience in assessing biographies of academics on Wikipedia, here are some of the things you need to do:
1. The Nobel Peace Prize was given to the IPCC as an organization, composed of literally dozens of scientists. I've had a look at the literature and there seem to have been over a dozen from the US Forestry service alone. Thus, it doesn't really count towards evidence of his individual impact. In my view the IUFRO Award and the "Chief's Award", which are recognitions of his individual achievement and impact are far more important, and you have no citation for that latter one.
2. His key books and studies need complete bibliographic information. They should be referenced not to themselves, but to reviews or discussions of them in other books or peer reviewed journals, which again demonstrates the impact of his work. I suggest you limit the publications to four or five key ones. They should probably go in a separate section, but that's a minor point.
3. The draft is currently written like an author's blurb on a book jacket and simply lists accomplishments. Read Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Words to watch and remove words like "leading", "notable", "currently", etc. Downplay the Nobel bit. Simply state what his role was in the IPCC. In the text the organization will be linked to Wikipedia's IPCC article where the reader can see that the organization won the Nobel Peace Prize. There's no need to mention it in the article about Peterson, and it actually detracts.
4. As a biography, it's not really adequate. I added his birth year from the authority control, but where was he born or grow up? What were his undergraduate and master's degrees in? From what universities? What was the topic of his doctoral dissertation? When did he join the US Forest Service?
Hope that helps. Voceditenore (talk) 08:21, 20 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Howdy! I was just curious why our submission for creation was taking so long to be reviewed and approved. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Johnnyurg03 (talkcontribs) 08:02, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You never resubmitted this draft after it was declined in May 2013. If you would like to resubmit it, add {{subst:submit}} at the top of the page. It may take several weeks to be reviewed after that. However, you should consider adding additional independent reliable sources that discuss the topic before resubmitting, as in its present state it looks likely to be declined again. You might do well to work on it a little quickly: we do not include trademark symbols, and the article seems to give exccessively detailed description, to the point that it reads asa press release for the product. DGG ( talk ) 18:52, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Jeff Schneider I am still waiting to hear from a newspaper organization about an online link that should be included in the article for review. Resources behind paywalls can still be used as references. Cite as many as possible of the newspaper name, publisher name, journalist's name, date published, and title of the piece, together with the link itself. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 16:19, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Review of User:Avp5231

Is there a way to prove that I am not affiliated with Artvest Partners, per my feedback from Aggie80? Re: Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/User:Avp5231?

Avp5231 (talk) 16:42, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not easily. If you say that you're not, then other editors should accept good faith, so long as there is not a problem with your editing. Editing in other topic areas might help.
Having a conflict of interest is not in itself a reason for a submission to be declined, so perhaps you should improve the submission further and then resubmit. From a quick look, it doesn't seem clearly apparent that the event is non-notable. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 21:40, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If the primary notability is as a film-maker, it does not appear that he has directed any notable films; if it is as an artist, it does not appear he has works in the permanent collection of major museums. See WP:CREATIVE. DGG ( talk ) 18:49, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Considering that Randy Gage earned CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame with some other recognitions and has written a book which featured in some bestseller lists, including that of The New York Times and Publishers Weekly, does he not meet WP:ANYBIO? All these were cited in my initial submission, but (although, they were straightforward, descriptive statements of facts and referenced with reliably published primary sources—WP:PSTS) another editor removed them as he believes that primary sources should not be used at all—see this revision. Article rejection

Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Four cycle steam engine

Hello,

I'm very puzzled about the rejection of my first article here on wikipedia.

I'm creating this article for one of my friends, Jeremy Holmes, about his studies about this steam engine. He sent me the text and the images for the article,. Initially, he sent me a piece of text for this article that was already available on his site.

After the first rejection, I asked him to write a new text as there seams to be some copyright problems. He sent me another text, I replaced the old text ... but the article was rejected again.

For sure I'm missing the core of the rejection as I really don't understand what's the copyright problem here. I read the copyright terms but still don't know where's the problem.

Can you please tell me what's the exact problem with this article ?

Thanks, Cristian Boghina

Flashsteam (talk) 10:22, 20 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Cristian. Your latest article submission was not rejected for copyright reasons, but because you provided no independent reliable sources that discuss the concept. It looks as though you are presenting Jeremy's work on his original research of a new concept in steam engines. Unfortunately, Wikipedia is not a place for publishing anyone's original research. Instead, we only summarise what publications have already written about that research. So Jeremy's work will need to have been discussed in other sources before it can be considered for Wikipedia. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 10:29, 20 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Flashsteam - Mr Holmes should submit an article about his work to a relevant reputable journal, if that results in media coverage an article about it can then be created here. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 11:18, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello DemonMiner- Welcome to the Articles for Creation Help desk. Your submission is declined as a non-notable submission lacking significant coverage in the reliable sources. However I believe, there are many reliable sources and some of them have substantial coverage of the subject. It has more than 60% chances to survive AfD. I'll assume good faith, last reviewer Hasteur probably wanted to see some more reliable sources. Please re-submit your submission clicking "Re-submit" situated bottom-left on light-pink decline box on the top of your submission page. Anupmehra -Let's talk! 21:10, 20 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Hunterjr1- Welcome to the Articles for Creation Help desk. Your submission was declined because it apparently reads a bit like an advertisement. Wikipedia accepts knowledge not advertisement. However that is a secondary concern. The primary concern that should be addressed first to make your submission eligible for inclusion, is to establish notability of the subject. Your submission should meet Wikipedia notability standard for musicians. Anupmehra -Let's talk! 21:24, 20 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

[[Wikipedia talk:Yogaraj born on 6 dec 1991 at Oldwashermenpet Chennai he was fineshed schooling was Dhanalakshmi hr.sec.school Comepled B.com(cs) at Presidency college chennai/Yogaraj]] (replace the " Yogaraj" — Preceding unsigned comment added by Yogu Thala (talkcontribs) 03:57, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

It's unclear what you are asking. Can you explain a bit better? There is a page User talk:Yogaraj, but it has only a welcome message on it. Are you the same person? As for User:Yogu Thala/sandbox, I see that you have submitted this for review. It would be failed immediately. There are no references at all, just a broken link to some sort of blog, and it appears to be about yourself. I see that you have also placed the same material at User talk:Yogu Thala and User:Yogu Thala. Are you trying to create a Wikipedia article about someone else or yourself? It is not appropriate to create an article about yourself. For guidance, please read What Wikipedia is not. Voceditenore (talk) 09:10, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Makari (Band) Deletion.

I received two messages saying that my article has not been accepted.

A page with this title has previously been deleted. If you are creating a new page with different content, please continue. If you are recreating a page similar to the previously deleted page, or are unsure, please first contact the deleting administrator using the information provided below and Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed! The submission has not been accepted because it included copyrighted information, which is not permitted on Wikipedia. You are welcome to write an article on the subject, but please do not use copyrighted work.

I am a little confused by this. Copyright? The band owns this information and it was given to me by my son who is the frontman for this band, with the band's permission to create a Wiki page for them. This is information that was written by the band for public information. As far as a previous article being deleted, I believe that may have been done prematurely and by my son who was struggling to figure out how to submit the article, which is why he asked me to do it.

Can you please respond and give me some advice on how to get this article published? Thank you so much — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tank1105 (talkcontribs) 12:27, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Material on Wikipedia has to be freely licensed, which the band's website is presumably not. You could freely license the text as described at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials, but it would probably make more sense simply to write it in your own words. Also, to be accepted as a Wikipedia article, the band would need to meet the notability criteria mentioned in Wikipedia:BAND. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 12:48, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

I would like some help on updating/formatting the citations for Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/American Standards. They have been updated in the body of the wiki using the edit page however the changes do not reflect at the bottom of the page under citations.

I'm also hoping to understand how to get the picture of the band to show by the bands name. I reviewed the coding on other artist pages and did a fair amount of research online but still am unable to figure it out. The picture coding is in the edit page but does not appear when I review.

Thank you!

Hi FoundationAgency. I'm not clear what you mean about changes to the references not reflecting in the citations at the bottom of the page. The references seem to be displaying correctly as far as I can see.
As regards the image, you need to upload it to either Wikipedia or Wikimedia Commons for it to be useable - having it at picresize.com is no use. If you own the copyright to the image, for example because it's a photograph that you took yourself, then upload it at Wikimedia Commons (with the Upload file link on the left) and then put the filename into the infobox back at the draft Wikipedia article. Hi Arthur!

I've tried using the commongrounds code below with no luck. Any other ideas? Thanks again!

Hey there! I just submitted our company profile, Bruno Event Team. Also, I noticed that when you google "Bruno Event Team", it brings up the golf tournament Regions Charity Classic. Although they do relate, we don't necessarily want it to bring up that tournament and would rather have Bruno Event Team's wiki pull up first.

You can't just copy your website into Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not here to promote your business for free. It's an encyclopedia, not an online advertising brochure. Arthur goes shopping (talk) 16:45, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The draft was deleted 20 minutes ago as an unambiguous copyright infringement. Note also that drafts do not appear on the Google search engine. Voceditenore (talk) 20:49, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Helpdesk, I need some guidance on getting an article posted on Wikipedia. I have attempted several times to post this article: Articles for creation/Zeenyx Software. Twice I have been denied for lack of notability. This most recent attempt included 5 good, reliable third party sources. I studied the notability criteria and believe that my article does in fact meet the requirements. Can you help. Thanks Blesuer (talk) 19:03, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Blesuer, let's look at your references:
1. is a presentation by the company of its own product
2. no link or article title given, but probably more of the same
3. is the company's CEO talking about his own company in a trade publication
4. was clearly written by the company itself, note "Our solution produces robust, easy to maintain tests, developed without a requirement for programming experience."
5. is a presentation by the company of its own product
Now, read Wikipedia:Notability (organizations and companies) and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations, which will put all this into context for you.

I have updated my article on Philip H. Hilder, linking to it from other articles so that it is no longer an orphan. I would like orphan status removed, please. Thank you. 3/22/14 KitFriedenKitFrieden (talk) 19:33, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Kit. I've removed it as well as the categorization tag and the stub tag. In future, you can do this as well, provided you feel that what the tag s were flagging up is now remedied. Best, Voceditenore (talk) 20:43, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I created a page on behalf of my company, with my company name as the username. It was rejected, because Wikipedia's rules state you cannot create a page on behalf of a company (along with some other issues I think I resolved and changed in the copy). I created a page with my own username, and copied the Wikitext to be approved to that page and sent it in for approval. Unfortunately, before I realized the issue with the username, I sent in my company username page to be approved as well. Will I be penalized for having submitted 2 pages with the same copy to be approved? What is the best way to deal with this issue? I just want one page under my username to be reviewed for approval.

I've corrected the article link in the section heading.
Wikipedia requires references to independent, reliable sources of information, such as news articles, magazine articles, television programs, films, and so on. This ensures that Wikipedia articles are verifiable (information can be checked) and about notable subjects (those that have been discussed by people independent of the subject). If you need help citing sources, you can go to the introduction to referencing (a quick tutorial) or referencing for beginners (more detailed information). Anon126 (talk - contribs) 22:20, 21 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

How can I remove "Retrieved on [date]" from citations? I used the Article Wizard. For some of the templates I put today's date in the "Access date" field which results in "Retrieved on [today's date]" in the citation. How can I remove that? Wayner27 (talk) 02:52, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

When you edit the article, you should find code that looks like |accessdate=... Just remove that. I've done two as examples in this edit. Anon126 (talk - contribs) 03:35, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Reviewer, I am an exchange student from China recently study at University of Massachusetts, Boston. I study as a graduate at the American Studies Program. My name is Xiuyue Lu. It's very nice to talk to you.

Creating an article on wiki is an very important component of my American Popular Culture and Technology course. We are required to submit an article and analyse the audience's reception of the article. But since now the review is heavily blocked, I cannot get my article published on time. I really worries me. If I cannot publish it sooner, I cannot hand in a report which should due on mid-April.

Hope you can kindly help me! I really appreciate what you have done! I know you guys are all volunteers, I really admire your sacrifice and passion. Wish you all the best! Yours, Xiuyue Mindhunter333 (talk) 03:41, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

You have not resubmitted the article for review - in fact nobody has touched it at all since 19 October 2013 when the last review was done. There are no references at all, so where are these "Third party proofs"? We will not Google anything, we will not search for news and magazine article that you claim exist, we do not care about anything at the Hindi Wikipedia does. It is your responsibility to properly reference these sources that you claim exist. Please see Referencing for beginners for guidance. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 17:51, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Curious as to why my submission wasn't accepted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Courtneyscole (talkcontribs) 19:50, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Have you looked at the pink review box at the top of the page yet? The reason for the decline is explained there and there are also various links to pages that contain guidance on how to fix the problem. Roger (Dodger67) (talk) 20:11, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Courtneyscole: First, presumably you are the same Courtney Cole that is the Executive Director at Missouri Senate Democrats? You already declared that you are the campaign manager for Paul LeVota, so you have a conflict of interest and you shouldn't be writing articles like these. Secondly, the article has no references at all which violates WP:CITE. If I were you, I would gather reliable sources and ask a disinterested third-party to write this article. Wikipedia is not here to help your campaign. Chris Troutman (talk) 21:03, 22 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure I understand why the submission has been declined this time. I checked the criteria of notability: - Added multiple references to huge websites such as Deadline.com, The Wrap, Variety and The Hollywood Reporter. All of the websites are in the Top 5000 most visited websites in the world according to Alexa.com. The four articles used as references are specifically about the subject, three of them include photos of him and are 100% focused on his career. They are independent of the subject and reliable. - He played in "Harry Potter" and recently filmed one of the main characters of a feature directed by Ron Howard. Again, I proved this by adding references to reliable websites such as "The Independent".

I don't understand how he can still be considered as a "non-notable person". Thank you in advance for your clarification.

Review of Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Cisco ASA - plus removal of unnecessary redirection

Dear AfC Reviewer: Once the page Cisco ASA is approved for creation, the link of Cisco ASA redirecting to Cisco PIX#Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) must be removed as it will now have its own page. KlarkKent (talk) 03:41, 23 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Noted. The reviewer will most likely find the existing redirect and request a technical move (which requires deleting the existing redirect). Anon126 (talk - contribs) 06:12, 23 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sir, I have submitted an article for review Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/User:16.11.Rguru/sandbox. However can I add a note to the article that- the author of the article is a senior civil judge of Orissa from the Republic of India 16.11.Rguru (talk) 07:09, 23 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,

I submitted an article on Anna Hashimoto, a young virtuosic Clarinetist and it was turned down for non-notability. I am independent of the subject and really think she is notable enough, according to WP:MUS notability guidelines, as I understand it, she would be notable under points 6, 9 and 12. My reasoning is thus:

  • Point 6, she has performed several concerto's with some of the most prominent Orchestra's in the world, she has also performed as principal Clarinet with some of the most prominent Orchestra's in the world.
  • Point 9, she has won two of the most major Clarinet competitions in existence.
  • Point 12, cited in the article a BBC Radio 3 interview and performance, also been broadcast on NHK TV and FM, FM Tokyo, ABC Radio and BBC Radio 3 on other occasions as well as featuring on NHK-FM's 'Best of Classic' and NHK TV's 'Classic Club' (in a joint recital).

The article is located at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:Articles_for_creation/Anna_Hashimoto

I would appreciate any assistance anyone could provide. Have tried to provide thorough and multiple reputable sources (once I started to understand what one of those was) but as I said, any assistance or help someone could provide would be gratefully received.

Thankyou.
