::Thanks for the link to the paper. It was definitely worth reading. I've actually been interested in Akt for a while now because it phosphorylates a large number of the binding partners of the 14-3-3 protein I'm studying. So I'm glad to have learned more about this. Once again, thanks for welcoming me, and I look forward to working with you on Mol Cell Bio Wikipedia articles in the future. [[User:Johnalrd|Johnalrd]] 16:28, 23 June 2006 (UTC) |

My talk page:
Welcome
Welcome to Wikipedia and thanks for you contributions to articles such as G-protein coupled receptor kinases. I just learned that G-Protein coupled receptor kinase 5 has been linked to regulation of core body temperature. Do you know anything about interactions between G-Protein coupled receptor kinases and AKT? --JWSchmidt 02:48, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
Hello, thanks for noticing me. I'm afraid I don't know anything about those interactions off the top of my head, except that I do seem to recall that they exist. Sorry I can't be of more help. Also, I'm not sure if it's customary to reply to talkpage comments on one's own page or on the commenter's page, so could you let me know if I'm doing this the wrong way? Thanks Johnalrd 07:09, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
