Mike Zammuto is an American businessman and the current President of Brand.com. Zammuto has worked in a Chief Executive role for a number of companies and specialises in reputation management.

He became the President of Brand.com in 2012, and has spoken regularly in the media since then about online brand management.[1]

Career

Early in Zammuto's career he was the CEO of Sapago and also COO of ChCha. In 2012, he became the President of Brand.com.[1]

In early 2014, Zammuto was the victim of an attempted blackmail.[2] [3] Cyberextortionists threatened to damage his reputation, unless they were given Bitcoin.[4] The demand was for the equivalent of US$500,000.[5]

Following the attack, Zammuto announced that he would be launching a non-profit to help those who were victims of cyber attacks.[6] [7] This started with him personally helping Robin Savage and others who had been damaged by fake reviews and damaging reports on sites such as Ripoff Report.[8] The company was launched on the URL cyberharassment.org in March 2014.[9] [10] [11]

Following the attack, Zammuto spoke of other extortions including the attempted cyberextortion of Meetup.com.[12]
