A stogie is just that; it is not a cheroot. It is short ,knarled,hard, chew tobacco consistency, often dipped in a flavor enhancer. They are chewed as much as smoked and were much loved by Italians especially along the eastern seaboard.In my case,Philly. I do miss them ! |
