Boraboy is a town in Amasya Province, Turkey.
Geography
Boraboy at 40°48′N 36°11′E / 40.800°N 36.183°E is a part of Taşova district of Amasya province. It is a mountain town with a beautiful lake. Distance to Taşova is 17 kilometres (11 mi) and to Amasya is 58 kilometres (36 mi).[1] The settled population is 850 as of 2011.[2]
The lake is situated a few kilometers west of the town at an altitude of 1,050 metres (3,440 ft). The maximum depth is 30 metres (98 ft) and the surface is 900 x 300 m2 (300 x 1000 ft2).

Economy
Product range in agriculture is quite wide,the most important products being apple, pear and sugar cane. Trout farming and beekeeping as well as flour production are among the secondary activities.
