Daisy Ridley (born 1991 or 1992) is a British actress who is confirmed to play a lead role in Star Wars Episode VII.

Career

Ridley has appeared in Youngers, Silent Witness, Mr Selfridge, Blue Season, Scrawl and Casualty and will appear in The Inbetweeners Movie 2.[2][3][4] She played the lead in film three of Lifesaver,[5] an interactive film which was nominated for a BAFTA British Academy Award.[6]

In April 2014, it was announced that she will play one of the lead characters in Star Wars Episode VII.[2][3][7]

Personal

Ridley is the daughter of Yvonne Ridley.[8] Her younger sister, Kika-Rose, is a model signed to Models 1.[9]
