Song |
"Nobody to Love" is a song by the British record production duo Sigma. The song was originally a bootleg remix of "Bound 2" by Kanye West, released on 24 January 2014 for free download. It received support from major British radio stations including BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra so it was reworked into an original track. Charlie Wilson's vocal was covered by a session vocalist and the song was released on 6 April 2014.[1][3] It topped the UK Singles Chart upon release, making it not only their first top 40 single but also their first UK number one.[4] It sold over 121,000 copies in the first week.[4]
Music video
A music video to accompany the release of "Nobody to Love" was first released onto YouTube on 24 March 2014 at a total length of four minutes and four seconds, and filmed by WE ARE FAMILIA.[5][1][3] It was filmed in Cape Town, South Africa[6] and features two girls on a road trip.[7]
