Deepshika Arora (née: Nagpal; born 2 September 1977), better known by her first name, is an Indian actress. She is best known for her Punjabi films, especially those of Gurdaas Maan. Despite being essentially a Punjabi actress, she made her presence in the Hindi serial Ajnabi along with Danny Denzongpa. She has also appeared in music videos of a number of Punjabi pop songs including Daler Mehndi's Dardi Rab Rab and acted in Bollywood movies such as Koyla, Baadshah, Red Swastik and Partner.
She got acclaim in Hindi film industry only after the release of Koyla. She was also seen in the Bollywood movie Dhoom Dhadaka with Satish Kaushik. She has also acted in Tamil films and a number of TV soaps. Her debut film as a director Yeh Dooriyan was released in August 2011.[1]
Personal life
Deepshika had married Jeet Upendra and has two children. But this marriage didn't last long. After 10 years of marriage she divorced Jeet.[2] In January 2012, she married Indore-based Keshav Arora. Keshav was her co-actor in her directorial debut Yeh Dooriyan.[3]
