:I listed Frank Dux et. al. in hope you would be more interested in editing [[Bullshido]] articles for correctness/NPOV in Wikipedia than I am. For now I'm going to concentrate on traditional Japanese MAs and other topics related to Japan, but please drop me a note if you happen to notice any more biased ninja fan-boy stuff (especially in articles where I'm not listed in editing history, just found some orphaned pages today) so I can add the article in question into [[User:Jni/List of utterly bogus and lame martial arts topics]]. (List currently held in private as not to generate a flame war ;-). I added myself into the MA project members section and will comment on its policies/templates/guidelines and on your article outlines etc. after I get some experience writing big articles. :Ahh, understood. I'll keep my eyes out for any ninja fanboyism. I'm just glad to have someone else who actually replies to my messages. I haven't heard a single peep from anyone since I joined the Martial Arts Project. If you ever want another set of eyes to review some of your work, I'm happy to lend mine. --[[User:Aesopian|Aesopian]] 17:13, 23 Sep 2004 (UTC) |

Hi Aesopian,
Nice work you did to Ashida Kim. Would you be interested in improving articles like Frank Dux, Saito Ninjitsu, Himizu Ryu and Ninjutsu?. These seem to lack a base in reality even more so than the article about Ashida. I just created the Category:Bujinkan to separate the Bujinkan specific stuff from more general articles. Feel free to contribute to that effort, if you find it interesting.

Hello Jni,
Thanks for the compliment on the Ashida Kim article. As you can see from the talk page, I have a lot more to add to it, but I wanted to fix up the POV material first.
As for working on those martial arts, I'm up for it. I can't say I know much about any of them, but I am willing to research and add information, wikify them, proofread, etc. Just pick an article and we can coordinate on the talk page for it. Most pieces about ninjas or ninjitsu tend to get rather wacky from unrealistic imaginings of ninjas being some fantasy character in anime.
One thing I like doing is laying out an article outline before I get to working on it. You can some of the outlines I've put together on the Talk:Luta Livre and Talk:Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Looking forward to working with you.
