Skin Game is an novel in The Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher. It is the 15th novel in the series.[2]
Background
The first two chapters were finished by April 2013.[2] The cover artwork was posted to Jim Butcher's blog on December 16, 2013.[3] The first five chapters are available on Jim Butcher's site.[4]
Synopsis
When Nicodemus Archleone shows up asking Queen Mab to pay off an old debt, she loans him her Winter Knight. Harry finds himself teaming up with the evil Nicodemus and a crew of nasties recruited for this job, and he's pretty sure that his employer has no intention of letting him survive.
After planning and executing an elaborate heist, Harry, Nicodemus, and the rest of the crew end up fighting in hades. Narrowly escaping a surprise betrayal, Harry is forced to kill Lash's new human, and barely defeats Uriel, who is now inhabiting one of the forest people. Narrowly escaping a surprise betrayal, Nicodemus attempts to kill Michael's family, after sacrificing his own daughter to gain entrance into hades.
