Template:Spanish name Alberto Moreno Pérez (Spanish pronunciation: [alˈβerto moˈɾeno ˈpeɾeθ]; born 5 July 1992) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays for Sevilla FC as a left back.

Club career

Born in Seville, Andalusia, Moreno came through the youth ranks at hometown club Sevilla FC, spending his first season as a senior with the reserves in the third division. On 8 April 2012 he made his first-team – and La Liga – debut, coming off the bench for Manu del Moral in the last minutes of a 0–1 away loss against Athletic Bilbao.[1]

In February 2013, Moreno was definitively promoted to the main squad.[2] On 4 October he renewed his link with the club, signing until 2018.[3]

On 20 October 2013 Moreno scored his first professional goal, netting the second in a 2–2 draw at Real Valladolid.[4]

International career

After playing for the Spanish under-21s in the 2013 UEFA European Championship, being first-choice as the tournament ended in conquest,[5][6] Moreno was called up to the main squad on 4 October 2013 for the last 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Georgia,[7] and he made his debut on the 15th, playing the full 90 minutes in a 2–0 win in Albacete.[8]
