Energy field disturbance is a concept rooted in alternative medicine. It concerns the disruptance of a metaphysical biofield that permeates the body, resulting in poor emotional or physiological health.[1] The North American Nursing Diagnosis Association recognized this as a diagnosis in 2005-2006.

Definition

According to NANDA, energy field disturbance is defined as the disruption of the flow of energy, or aura, surrounding a person's being that results in a disharmony of the body, mind, and/or spirit.[2] There are a number of variations, however, with many using terminology from traditional medicine.
