Coalfields No. 4 is a rural municipality in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. It is located in southeastern Saskatchewan and is within SARM Division No. 1 and Census Division No. 1. Its population was 396 as of the 2006 Census.

The southern boundary of the RM is the United States border at Burke County, North Dakota.

Statistics

According to the Canada 2006 Census, Coalfields No. 4 has a population of 396 people, a change of -4.6% from 2001. It has a total of 150 private dwellings, 140 of which are occupied by usual residents. It has an area of 819.76 square kilometres (316.51 sq mi) and a population density of 0.5 inhabitants per square kilometre (1.3/sq mi).[1]
