History
Route 148 is one of the many routes created to help the congestion charge.[1]
New Scania OmniCity entered the service in late 2006, the Volvo B7TL 10m / Alexander ALX400 were transferred to route 220, although they do show up and the Volvo B7TL 10.6m / East Lancs Myllennium Vyking were given to Stamford Brook to increase the frequency of route 27.
