:: Why'd they picked Lompoc?? Thats easy for a well-traveled, native Californee. Ya see, it's apropos Roger Ramjet and the American Eagles would hail from Lompoc, California... it's the location of Vandenberg Air Force Base!!! Didn't the theme song also include these lyrics?
When Ramjet takes a proton pill the crooks begin to worry They can't escape their awful fate from proton's mighty fury.

Yeah, it did contain those words. Someone's added them now.
The Voices and Cast sections need to be merged or something. Some info is repeated, but I think that the fact Gary Owens worked on laugh in, and that the writers did the voices needs mentioning. It gives it that 4man show appeal :) User:211.30.125.88 04:53, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
- I added them on 2/17/06. I have observed that most or maybe all other internet sites only have the first and third verses, so whoever posted them here probably did the blind-copy-and-paste approach. I would also guess that whoever posted the lyrics first on whatever site (which every other site then copied blindly) either forgot there was that middle verse, or else was playing "nanny" due to the "drug implications" of that verse. Of course, now that the middle has been here awhile, we should easily be able to tell which other sites parrot this one, ja? Wahkeenah 07:46, 28 April 2006 (UTC)

Just noting that the official site http://www.rogerramjet.com appears not to exist anymore. I haven't removed the link as I don't know if this is only temporary. Pufnstuf 19:45, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
Just wondering, I know in Australia it was taken off the air because of drug use (his "pep" proton pills that give him super strength). Should this be mentioned anywhere? - scott
- This definitely needs a reference; I never knew this and I only ever watched it in Australia StaticSan (talk) 23:23, 27 April 2009 (UTC)
ah ha! that explains my drug abuse problem - anon —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.168.139.11 (talk) 15:33, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
(Note: a prominent reference book gives the numbers as 20 bombs, 20 seconds, and that was copied into many subsequent works. The 10 and 10,000 figures come from the actual cartoons.) source - http://www.toonopedia.com/ramjet.htm

- I have the DVD cartoon collection. It's 20 atom bombs for 20 seconds. Wahkeenah 23:23, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
- I've never heard or read any report about it being taken off the air in Australia. I've seen this series (in Sydney) many times since it first aired in the '60s. As far as I'm aware it's always screened on ABC. Never heard this claim before. Dunks (talk) 01:35, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
Lompoc
I've read several reports stating that the regular Lompoc references in RR are because the creators hailed from there. This appears to be a misnomer -- if you look up the Wiki entry for Jim Thurman, you'll see that he was born in Texas and raised in Michigan. I'm yet to track down reliable info on Gene Moss, but I think we need a "citation needed" flag here until the Lompoc connection can be confirmed or denied. Dunks (talk) 01:42, 8 September 2010 (UTC)

Running Time
Each episode ran for about 3 minutes, but the infobox reports the running time as "30 minutes (including commercials)". I know TV stations need to advertise a lot, but this seems a bit excessive (or perhaps an error?) Wocky (talk) 07:20, 26 January 2013 (UTC)
