Lithonia High School is a public high school located in Lithonia, Georgia. It serves 1,784 students from grades 9-12. Principle Yalonda Peek is the current principal. It has many clubs and extracurricular activities, including a book club, Future Business Leaders of America , marching band,chorus,SGA etc. The sports it has include baseball, football basketball, volleyball, swimming, golf, tennis, soccer, track, gymnastics,cheer leading,softball,and wrestling. Lithonia high school is rising in Basketball,Football, and Swimming. Lithonia High is known for there Mighty marching band, there amazing Navy JROTC and Cheerleaders! Go Bulldogs!

On December 17, 2012, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools announced that it had downgraded the DeKalb County Schools System's status from "on advisement" to "on probation" and warned the school system that the loss of their accreditation was "imminent." DeKalb county has now awarded lithonia as one of the top ten improved schools in dekalb county.Lithonia high school is now a uniform school as of the 2013-2014 school year.[1]
