Islamic Welfare Society (Urdu: اسلامک ویلفیئر سوسائٹی, Hindi: इस्लामिक वेलफेयर सोसाइटी,) is a nonprofit organization located in Jaunpur. It was established in 1996.[1][2] Inspired by the teachings of empathy, generosity and selflessness, the society aims to alleviate poverty and suffering across the world.

History

Islamic Welfare Society was created by the strong will and passion of Maulana Anwar Ahmed Qasmi, Abu Akram and Maulana Abul Wafa which was registered in 1996 and established the first school "Jamia Momina Lil Banat” in 1999 which was patronage by Alhaaj Sharfuddin Jamali till to I the last moment of his life; which after his death was inherited by his Naiyar Iqbal Jamali. The school was firstly started under a tin shade but later society acquired the land and built incomparable buildings that serves 1 200 girls students. It is completely a non-political organization.
Under this society near about 30 schools are established, 1000 hand pumps have been installed in the poor localities to meet the water crisis and provides scholarships for poor children. This society comprises of visionaries and philanthropist, that’s why we were able to establish institutions like M. A. Shoaib Industrial Technical Institute, Hospitals, Clinics, Masjids in different places.

Goals

The most pressing need of the society is to make the students well versed with English. Education is a powerful tool through which we can combat cut throat competition which we are constantly faced. India emerging as a soon to be super power, the importance of education is ever rising. As responsible educationists we understand our role in nation building. We realize that in our Colleges and Universities we are working for the future of India, which will be taken to greater heights by our students. It therefore becomes important that we do not falter in our role as educational catalysts.

"Quality of facility provided, quality of teachers or the quality of the curriculum itself. Our quest and journey to provide the very best to our students propels us to constantly updated and innovate ourselves."

The emphasis in the coming year will be on research and development that has become the core factor for growth across the world to ensure our mission that "Think globally act locally."
We wish to nurture the talent of our students by providing them with facilities that include the best teaching staff, world class equipment and most of all a stern but friendly guiding hand for them to carve out their future. We look forward to a future where each one of our students are able to meet challenges that would never seem too big to achieve.
It will be our sincere endeavor to provide suitable environment with transparency, impartially and fairness to all teaching and non-teaching personnel as well as the students of the group so that all will work in a responsible and coordinated manner with their full potential to make it possible to fulfill all challenges. I am sure that, working as a team, we would be able to take the group to the pinnacle of its glory.
