Disney Channel Middle East (Template:Lang-ar) is an edition of the The Walt Disney Company-owned Disney Channel broadcasting to the Middle East, North Africa as well as Pakistan and Maldives with exceptions of Iran, Iraq, Libya, Syria, and Tunisia.[1] It is advertising-free and funded by subscription fees.

History

In December 1999, Disney Channel Middle East's operations were split into two. Both Arabic and English versions adopted the new UK idents from 1999 created by GÉDÉON. The only difference between the two versions is that the Arabic version uses the text in the Arabic language.[2]

In 2003, Disney Channel Middle East uses the same logo as Disney Channel US that was used from 2002. The idents and graphics were created by CA Square. In 2011, Disney Channel Middle East now uses Disney Channel US' smartphone app logo.
