Personal life erroneous additions

Claims about Grindr have been added several times to this article. To date there has been no source to validate any claims made, please remove on sight unless clear and reliable new sources are added. Fæ (talk) 17:04, 18 June 2010 (UTC)

General Quality / Tidy-up

I'm afraid, to be blunt, quite a lot still needs to be done - the quality of many articles on politicians can be quite partial and 'bitty'. I've broken up a long list of sentences into subsections, and then tried to pull things together into thematically consistent passages and paragrahs, but feel free to suggest any alterations. Another thing I felt was inappropriate was that quite a bit of material seemed to be partisan. For example, letters sent to local newspapers aren't appropriate for Wikipedia, or else there would be rampant letter wars(!), so the response to his expenses issue should be summarised as being "negative" or "critical", for which there is actual evidence. Something the article would benefit from is the addition of a few citations, such as on his educational background, if anybody can find a source for that?
