Michael G. Frary (May 28, 1918 – August 20, 2005) was an American painter.
Frary was born in Santa Monica, California in 1918 and studied at the University of Southern California where he received a BA in architecture and a Master of Fine Art in painting. He also attended the Académie de la Grande Chaumière in Paris. He taught at the Chouinard Art Institute in Los Angeles, UCLA, San Antonio Art Institute, and the University of Texas. Frary was the recipient of numerous awards, and his works are featured in the collections of the Smithsonian Institution, Santa Barbara Museum of Art, Butler Institute of American Art, and the Dallas Museum of Art.
