The Boston School of Photography is a style of photography that emerged in the late 1960s and developed throughout the 1990s with artists that include, David Armstrong, Nan Goldin, Philip-Lorca diCorcia, Mark Morrisroe, Jack Pierson and Shellburne Thurber.

Daniel Riera (1970) is a fashion photographer.[1]

Riera was born in Olat, Spain He studied Fine Arts and photography at the University of Barcelona and cinema at the Escola De Mitjans Audiovisuals (EMAV).

Riera regularly contributes fashion stories, portraits, and personal projects to publications such as Fantastic Man, The Gentlewoman, Vogue Hommes International, WSJ, V Man, Harper's Bazaar Germany, GQ Style Germany, Hercules Universal, Vamp, T (The New York Times Style), Vanity Fair, Kid's Wear, Candy, Butt, Das Magazin and El Pais Semanal among others.[2]

Riera's advertising clients include Adidas, Air France, Bergdorf Goodman, Camper, Canali, Chevignon, COS, Dunhill, Gucci, Lacoste, Loewe, Mühlbauer, Pedro García, Petit Bateau, Stefanel and Spastor, among others. Daniel has photographed many personalities including Vincent Cassel, Michael Stipe, Alain-Fabien Delon, Aaron Paul, Rossy de Palma, Gary Barlow, Rick Owens, Olivier Giroud, Gaspard Ulliel, Devendra Banhart, M.I.A., Mark Ronson, Max Irons, Proenza Schouler, Kellan Lutz, Nico Muhly, Paco Rabanne, Yasmin LeBon and Mr. Stan Smith. He has shot CD cover art for musicians such as Evripidis and his Tragedies, Kim Ann Foxman, Josep Xortó and The Congosound.[3]

Riera also has participated in group and solo exhibitions, like "Don't Stop Now: Fashion Photography Next" (2014), FOAM Photomuseum, Amsterdam (curated by Magdalene Keaney); A Cop d'Ull", La Virreina, Centre de l'Imatge, Barcelona (2014)(curated by Manuel Segade & Alex Brahim); "Beauty in the 21st.
