First off, I was resubmitting these requests. There's nothing in the Wizard guide that prohibits me from doing that. Second both photos can easily be used as non-free fair use images. 72.74.200.86 (talk) 14:49, 5 September 2014 (UTC)

There's plenty of images uploaded from Photobucket. Why is this one being singled out? This image fulfills all the requirements for non-free fair use. 72.74.200.86 (talk) 04:26, 5 September 2014 (UTC)
- WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS does not make it right. Even for non-free we need to be able to ascertain where the image came from for US fair use law. We are also supposed to not use materials from sources that are copyright violations and being that anyone can upload anything to Photobucket without any information, we have no evidence that this isn't a copy vio and rather, it most likely is. - The publicity photo would be great, if it didn't have the watermarks on it. It would also be potentially free since there isn't any copyright notice on or around the image. With the possibility of a free image, we could not have a non-free image per WP:NFCC#1. I'll look into that specific photo to see if we can find more information about its copyright and whether a copy without watermarks exists. Cheers, TLSuda (talk) 13:45, 6 September 2014 (UTC)

- I think that the watermarks make this copy more or less useless. I am also not sure exactly how to determine if a copy is a published copy or not. Maybe someone like User:We hope or User:Moonriddengirl can comment on that. --Stefan2 (talk) 15:13, 9 September 2014 (UTC)

Every other photo that was better quality shows Karbo with his back to the camera! The paper was not renewed for 1977/1978 and it would be PD-not renewed. - I believe it definitely was published, and although its unusable with the watermark (which I dont think can be easily removed) it shows that a free image is available (somewhere) therefore we cannot host a non-free image. That's all I needed to know. TLSuda (talk) 19:40, 9 September 2014 (UTC)
