Cute Is What We Aim For is a power pop band that formed in January 2005 in Buffalo, New York. They appear on the Fueled by Ramen record label along with such bands as Panic! at the Disco, Fall Out Boy, The Academy Is... and Less Than Jake.

The first full-length album, The Same Old Blood Rush With a New Touch, produced by Matt Squire (Panic! At the Disco, Thrice, Northstar) was released June 20, 2006. It features guest vocals from William Beckett on the song "There's A Class For This", and All Time Low on the songs "Teasing to Please" and "Sweet Talk 101".
