M.A.M. College of Engineering MAMCE is located in Trichy Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded in 1998 by Maluk Educational Health And Charitable Trust. The college is patronized by Maluk Educational Health and Charitable Trust.

The college was established on 10.02.1999 with the approval of Tamil Nadu Government and All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and is affiliated to Anna University Chennai.

The college is governed by professionals from leading corporate and academia that includes former Vice Chancellors.

All the departments of the college have signed MOU with selected number of huge corporate and research labs, like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Oracle, IBM, Yokogawa, BSNL, ABB, BHEL, Dalmia, Trident Tech Labs, etc. to provide value based knowledge exchange. All the departments are very active in conducting National level symposiums, conferences, workshops, special lectures etc., through their technical associations.

The campus is rich with computing facility numbering to 2400 computers catering to the need of the students with 32MBPS internet connectivity. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled.

MAMCE is located on the Trichy - Chennai Trunk road at Siruganur, 8 km from Samayapuram.

Administration

The administration of the college is done by 3 committees, namely, Managing Committee, Governing Council, and Technical Advisory Committee.

All major decisions concerning the College are taken by the Managing Committee, which is guided by the Governing Council constituted as per the AICTE norms consisting of eminent personalities in technical education and administration.

Training and placement

The Training and Placement Cell is mentored by professional from leading MNCs and headed by prof c. Antony raj.

Apart from the regular curriculum, rigorous training programmes are planned for eligible students for placement by inviting domain experts from reputed MNC’s like INFOSYS and also, motivational programmes by value mentors like Vijay TV Gopinath’s M/S VIJAY TALKSHOP ACADEMY are initiated.

Basic comprehensive sessions on aptitude and personality development are carried out along with academic curriculum from I semester onwards. Special training to prepare students for CAT, G-MAT, TOEFL & BEC exam is also made available in the campus.

Career guidance

The M.A.M. Civil and Public Service Commission Academy is headed by the former Regional Employment Officer Dr. P. Suresh Kumar, to motivate and aid the interested students in the field of Civil Services.

Proctorial system

A faculty member (Proctor) is assigned to take care of a group of 15 students, who guides and monitors them on academic and personal issues include anxiety of exams, change in culture, low level of confidence, problems in relationships and hostel life, decision making dilemmas, academic problems or adaptability to new environment. Counseling gives a chance to talk one’s mind. All matters of discussion during the Counseling are kept confidential.
