Nebojša Kosović (Cyrillic: Небојша Косовић; born February 24, 1995 in Nikšić) is a Montenegrin football player

who currently plays for Hungarian side Újpest on loan from Standard Liège.

Club career

Vojvodina

While going through youth ranks of Vojvodina, Kosović showed great amount of potential. That didn't go unnoticed by first team coaches, and on 9 April 2011, under coach Zoran Milinković, Kosović made his debut for the first team, at the age of just 16 years and 44 days. That made him one of the youngest debutants in clubs history. In early 2012 Kosović committed his future to the club, signing a three-year deal with club.[1] Arguably, Kosović's breakthrough season came in 2012-13, when Kosović showed some quality displays, including a solid game in 3-0 away thrashing of fierce rivals Red Star. Kosović's first league goal for Vojvodina came on 9 March 2013. He scored a late injury-time equalizer, by lobbing the keeper from just outside the box, in 3-3 away draw at BSK Borča.[2] In early September 2013, Kosović committed his future to the club, by signing a two year extension to his current contract which lasts until 2017.[3]

On 31 January 2014, Kosović moved to Belgian Pro League side Standard Liège on a four-and-a-half year deal, and then was loaned to Újpest in the Hungarian League.[4]

International career

In 2010, at the age of 15, Kosović represented Montenegro's football team at the 2010 Summer Youth Olympics. He scored a brace against Singapore's team at the tournament's group stage.

Kosović has been a member of the Montenegrin U-16 and U-17 teams.[5] On August 14, 2013, he made a debut for the Montenegrin U-21 team.[6]
