- Thank you, @Adjwilley, I'm not especially new, but this is a new account. I retired from my old one.
- You've retired your previous account? What was it? GoodDay (talk) 02:42, 20 November 2014 (UTC)

- Hello Grandma. I just popped in to tell you that in the future, if you decide you want a different name, you need to consider getting a name change instead of swapping to a new account every few days. Doing it once is certainly no problem, but doing it multiple times might construed as using multiple accounts to avoid scrutiny, even if they don't have interleaved edits. This is based on previous sockpuppet investigations and subsequent community discussions. It is an unusual situation, but I'm familiar with it as I was the blocking administrator in the most infamous example. If you do decide to change you name in the future, you can read Wikipedia:Changing username and/or ask any WP:Bureaucrat for advice. It is not too difficult, and would avoid some obvious problems. You might want to check out the WP:Teahouse if you have questions of a more general nature, such as editing. There are many people there ready to help. Dennis - 2¢ 03:15, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
- @Dennis Brown, I did read on a name change, but it seemed complicated (just my impression). While I'm not new to wiki, I'm also not super experienced. This move was something of an experiment, but, yes it was my first move. Just being honest, something I know is expected around here. Taking care, Grandma.
How to add userboxes
Welcome to Wikipedia. I see that you want to add userboxes to your page. Here is an example of one that might apply to you:

The code for this is {{Template:User grandchildren|3}}. You can change the number 3 to whatever is the correct number. I recommend you go to the Userbox gallery and click on any of the links that look interesting. There you'll find a gallery of userboxes beside code that you can simply copy and paste on your page. For example, I found the above link in the Family section of Userboxes/Life. I hope this helps. RockMagnetist(talk) 02:57, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
