The 2014–15 CA Osasuna season is the 94th season in the club history. They are aiming to finish in the top two for automatic promotion to earn their place in the top flight.

Review

June

On 2 June Osasuna has closed its participation in the XXI Edition of the National tournament XXI torneo Alevín Blue BBVA.[1] On 16 June they have been presented at today's viability plan in Navarre Govermment was effectively the resignation of the CA Osasuna President, Miguel Archanco and the Board Director's. The Delegate members of CA Osasuna have supported 139 votes to the Management Board headed by Javier Zabateta, along with Marino Zulet, Jesús Dronda, Ángel Larrea and Pedro Zudaire.[2] On 23 June The management board, headed by Javier Zabaleta, wanted to meet first with CA Osasuna workers, to demonstrate their lines of work and at the same time aware of the concerns and questions of the employees. Also, sports have also addressed two issues: transfers of players and choice of coach. on the first issue, Zabaleta started that "there are two very advanced transfers and go as they move reporting negotiations "as for the new coach, the Management Board has studied with Petar Vasiljevic, and administration characteristics of potential candidates. "This will be assessed and decide which of them will be the right one", concluded the President of the Management Board.[3] On 25 June CA Osasuna have confirmed there first match for the upcoming season. They will face Atletico Bilbao at the El Sadar Stadium, Next Wednesday 6 August, is yet to be determined.[4] On 30 June CA Osasuna and The Championship Club Wigan Athletic have reached a definitive agreement for the transfer to the English side Oriol Riera for 2.5 Million euros, corresponding to the termination clause of the contract amount Catalan forward. With Osasuna until 30 June 2016, arrived in Pamplona last summer from AD Alcorcón. During his stay at the Club, Oriol Riera has played a total of 41 official matches; 37 League and League Cup matches. He has scored 13 goals, all in the domestic competition. [5]

July

On 3 July Jan Urban 52, will coach CA Osasuna during the 2014-15 season. Next manager has decided unanimously at the meeting held this afternoon at the El Sadar Stadium. The Polish hit Osasuna coach accompanied by his deputy, Kibu Vicuña 42. Jan Urban Linking with CA Osasuna dates back to 1989, when he signed as a professional team player. He wore the shirt rojilla until 1994, being one of the best foreign players who have played in our Club.[6] On 4 July Osasuna Argentinian Winger Emiliano Armenteros agrees to terminate the contract he signed for both parties that ends on 30 June 2015, he signs a two year deal for Mexican Chiapas F.C. for 7,5 Million Euros. As Javier Zabaleta explained "The player forgives debt and Osasuna gives freedom card so you can sign with the Mexican Chiapas F.C. ".[7] On 9th July Jan Urban has confirmed the official presentation of CA Osasuna pre-season games on Monday 14th July.
