My name is Alijah Purdy and I am 19 years old. I go to school at the University of Southern Indiana, though my hometown is Indianapolis, Indiana.

Interests

I love to watch television, and some of my favorite shows are The Closer, The Good Wife, Chicago Fire, and Veep. I also like to listen to music, and some of my favorite singers are Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood, and Drake. I also like to watch movies, and I consider myself a movie critic. Real Housewives of Indiana

Seasons 1 and 2 of the Real Housewives of Indiana starred Keaira Denton, Kelsea Hammer, Alijah Purdy, Leah Purnell, and Joanna Tevault. Tevault announced her departure from the series in March 2013, just weeks before filming for the third season was set to begin. When the premiere date of Season 3 was announced in August 2013, it was revealed that Hammer had been let go from the series, though she was later seen in 2 episodes of Season 3. Season 3 saw the additions of Katie Henderson, Ciara Eades-Hines, and Rachel Porter, who joined the show in the sixth episode of the season.

Filming for season 4 began in May 2014, two months later than filming for season 3, which began filming in March 2013, and a month later than season 2, which began filming in April 2012. Ciara Eades-Hines announced her departure from the series in June 2013, confirming months of speculations that she would no longer be a part of the series. Season 4 was announced on November 3rd, 2014. It was confirmed that Denton, Henderson, Porter, Purdy, and Purnell would be returning for season 4, along with new housewife Kimberly Skaggs. It was also confirmed that former housewife Joanna Tevault would be returning in a "Friend of the Housewives" role, as would newcomer Sarah James. This marks the first time that the series has featured someone in a "Friend of the Housewives" position. Season 4 premiered on Tuesday, November 18th.

On November 10th, 2014, it was revealed that Jesse Benti-Torres, who appeared as Dentons boyfriend in seasons one, two, and part of season three, had been arrested in connection with the rape of a woman in Bloomington, Indiana. Benti-Torres was set to appear in one episode of the fourth season, however, after news of his arrest broke, Bravo announced that his scenes had been edited out of the season.
