Air date
guess what? i saw episode 2 two days before it went air! — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.136.61.26 (talk • contribs)
- Yup, they air in Canada before the U.S.; I have updated the article to reflect that, since the "Original Air Date" is not specifically US-centric if it airs elsewhere earlier. :) ☺ · Salvidrim! · ✉ 18:15, 11 December 2014 (UTC)
- And again, I have put it back in. I think it's only gonna be necessary for the first 5 episodes, since after that the Wednesday CBS air date will be the "original air date". This isn't the first time this is the case with The Mentalist and other season articles accurately reflect the "original air date", so I dunno why it would be an issue here? Readers who see an episode on live TV and then come to the article and see the so-called "original air date" is in the future are going to be needlessly confused, which is contrary to Wikipedia's goals. The footnote adequately resolves said potential confusion. ☺ · Salvidrim! · ✉ 21:57, 12 December 2014 (UTC)
- But I do think that a country that made films and TV shows should only be the one that had the release on that table, not from the country that first released before that country that made any film or show. BattleshipMan (talk) 21:59, 12 December 2014 (UTC)
- What policy could possibly lead you to think that? And why would what you think necessarily be the correct way to present the information in the article? "My opinion should be followes instead of policy" is not a valid justification for reverting. ☺ · Salvidrim! · ✉ 23:36, 12 December 2014 (UTC)
- Some Wikipedia policies are never right when it comes to certain things like not letting on when a episode aired on the country that makes and produces a show. You probably know that I'm right about that. BattleshipMan (talk) 02:15, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
- I don't. You can't just say that your opinion is right regardless of policy. ☺ · Salvidrim! · ✉ 02:28, 13 December 2014 (UTC)
