I contribute articles on one subject only - horse racing. The Wikipedia pages on this subject are still some way from perfect, but I think I have helped improve them since I came onto the scene in late 2004.

• UK Group 1 Races (eg Eclipse Stakes) - winners since 1988
• UK Group 2 Races (eg Dante Stakes) - winners since 2000

Recently I've been expanding the winners' lists of all UK, Irish and French Group 1 races back to 1988. Why 1988?

• a) because some of the information from earlier years would become difficult to find with the references I have to hand.
• b) because starting every race from the very beginning would be a very laborious task - many of the races go back to the mid 19th century or earlier.

I wouldn't rule out full lists completely - the current layout of "Irish Derby Stakes" seems to work, with pre 1988 winners listed by name only.
