LPD formerly known as L.A.P.I.D.A. (LPD), is a band from Monterrey, Mexico which started on 6 January 1999, formed by three young brothers, Juan Ramon Lopez Ibarra, Jorge Luis Lopez Ibarra, Jose Antonio Lopez Ibarra at the ages of 15, 13, 10. Significantly they started appearances with bands such as Arlequin, Plomo, CARAJO (A.N.I.M.A.L.), La flor de lingo, IRA, Disgorge, Pulsion, among others, into Monterrey and Guadalupe counties to play their music. Later they were at the first year of being played. They were recommended by two man headers for a public forum at mercado fundadores place located in the center of Monterrey, they were to a main radio station in a show called "distorsion" run by Gerardo Gwario, then later they were invited to other shows on the same radio station at multimedios, one of them called "radio desvelados" run by Juan Ramon Palacios, the metal band was invited to several shows throughout the years, they played several shows in and out of Mexico and played with international bands and several showcases. They put out an album called Time for Evolution released after 10 years of being played within Mexico and several countries, one of them already released their album in 2010 in Spain. They currently have several awards by Monterrey showcases and they are being listed on reviews from Greece and Europe as the "Mexican promise" for new upcoming metal bands, one of the members (Jose Antonio Lopez Ibarra -drummer) was recently sponsored by Vic Firth brand, company located in Boston, MA to be one of their set of drummers representing their brand around the globe. They are currently working on a new album coming soon called Steelus. |

Their first album contains several songs, one of the most broadcast was a song called "CCONNOR", due to the lyrics of this song, was branded as "the new grito of independence" by a review for local newspaper in Mexico. The band has a new members for the new lineup are Scott ( second guitar and FX, voices), Kako torres ( synth and FX) and Junior Villarreal (1st Guitar)Steelus was branded in a news local paper EL NORTE in monterrey as a new metal band for the new Steelus album Already Available online and in all Stores around Mexico. Erick Santos singer in the band La flor de lingo performed in the new album Steelus in the song Intraludio and Vecerro from Caelaluz in the song Morgue. The Album steelus is already released on January 2013 . Steelus will be the first chapter of a trilogy of albums of LPD, The next 2 albums are still on production. The next album will be called Graveyard Machinery. the only original members that will remain on the band will be Juan Ra Lopez and Junior villarreal and they will release their new line up at the end of January of the 2014 The New lineup is set. Junior villarreal - guitar leader Javier Valdez -Bass Julian gonzales -Drumms Juanra-Vocals Alexis wong was earlier on the first song production "New Nemesis" of graveyard time machinery, but there will be another new guitar performer instead of alexis. now jon rivera is the new 2nd guitarrist and was an earlier player of the band fusion of hate. New release date for the new album it´s postponed until 2015 New single will come up in May 2014 "New Nemesis" by Studio Habitat and ASenath Records. the will open an international tour from the band "Kataklysm" in monterrey next december 11th 2014 in the town concert hall Escena. plus the band had two shows in different festivals in monterrey, one was "sounds of streets" and "devastando el morfos" at the new album they already recorded the voices of the artists featuring on the new album such as guille esteves from Granada metal band from argentina and also will record a song called "Makinaria infernal" with the singer javier herrera from the band MAKINA , the band recently opened a show of the USA Band "KATAKLYSM" and they will be open a new show to the band "SOULFLY" from the former singer of Sepultura Max Cavalera. they will be recording their new album(next production) next february with studio habitat.(pre-release may 2015)"Graveyard Time Machinery"
