Asil Attar is a global visionary and strategist
Career
Asil Attar born in Bagdad and from Iraqi, Iranian and Indian heritage is a global visionary and strategist. A dynamic fashion industry expert, with 20 years of industry expertise from senior positions in London, New York and Europe focussed on talent management, brand building, business restructuring, development and expansion.
She has been the opening speaker and panellist for many conferences in the region, including Arabian Business Women’s Forum,[1] Asian Leadership Awards, Women in Leadership Conference,[2] The Luxury Forum,[3] Cityscape Global,[4] the CSR Summit 2013,[5] the Host for Google Grind Dubai[6] and most recently as a speaker at the World Islamic Economic Forum[7] and their Foundation program the Mocafest among many others over the last 5 years of her tenure in the region. She has also been requested to sit on the advisory board for the Asia Retail Congress[8] and Future Retail.[9]
Awards and Recognition
Attar has positioned herself as one of the top 100 most powerful Arab women in 2012 by Arabian Business magazine[10] as well as being voted number 55 in the Forbes Middle East in the ranking of the most powerful Arabic Women in the world.[11]
She won the Asia leadership award for outstanding achiever in 2012[12] and nominated for the Women in Leadership CEO of the year.
