The Common Cylinder Sizes says it includes 4.5lb for valve and cap but at least one (unannotated) entry says it weighs 4 lbs which doesn't add up (sorry for the pun).

A quick google [1][2] shows that the best way is to look at the label. If it's not clearly labelled, it should be marked Contents Unknown and returned to the manufacturer. If that's not what you meant, you might want to ask at the Wikipedia Ref Desk - science section as well. Gotyear 20:31, 23 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
